#79 Betty Everett - 1900 Yesterday

“Shoop Shoop Song (It’s In His Kiss)” remains both Betty Everett’s greatest-selling record and the greatest disservice to the memory of her talents. Blessed as she was with a wistful, tart voice, Betty Everett was far more capable than what the bright girl-group pop of “Shoop Shoop” might suggest.

#77 From Berkeley To The Bronx

The remarkable story of Roger Linn, inventor of the drum machine. The son of an opera singer and a music professor, Linn's invention revolutionised popular music. He has inspired artists as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Heaven 17, and the Wu Tang Clan. Exploited by shady businessmen, Linn has been a reclusive figure for decades.

#76 R. Kelly - Best Friend / Ignition (Remix)

R.Kelly's new album "Double Up" is out.
"Best Friend" ft. Keyshia Cole & Polow Da Don is probably the best cut, and that alone says alot about the album.
Way better: DJ B.cause from Chicago and his "Ignition" Remix. I know it's a old song. But what the new ones cant'....

Alpert's musical accomplishments include five number one hits, twenty-eight albums on the Billboard charts, eight Grammy Awards, fourteen Platinum albums and fifteen Gold albums.

And yes, you have heard him before. "Rise" has been sampled by Puff Daddy for his protegé Notorious BIG. Remember "Hypnotize"? Yeah, you do...
