#243 Life In The Year 1958
Great film about how life fifty years ago looked like. And yes, of course, it was that perfect. What did you think, cynical bastards...

#238 Hipster Is Dead
We’ve reached a point in our civilization where counterculture has mutated into a self-obsessed aesthetic vacuum. So while hipsterdom is the end product of all prior countercultures, it’s been stripped of its subversion and originality. Or to be more precise: fuck off, hipsters!

#237 Kanye West feat. Lil' Wayne - Tell Everybody That You Know
Seems like the entire album has been leaked (officialy, you know) before it's release. I just post this, because of this incredible Lil Wayne part. I mean, being a martian with a sizzurp addiction doesn't explain everything. does it?

#236 Jay Electronica - Exhibit A (Transformations)
In recent months, the 31-year-old MC, who’s spent the past dozen years roaming nomadically between nearly as many cities, has emerged as hip-hop’s first real enigma of note since the rise of MySpace and MP3 blogs made ubiquity an imperative for all rappers on the come-up. But turning down interviews and holding back on the web (he doesn’t have a website at the moment and deleted his MySpace account) wouldn’t exactly be a formula for success if he didn’t already have the Internet and insiders alike going nuts over his music. Teaming up with Just Blaze just completes the picture...
# 235 Brazilian Girls - Good Time (Diplo Remix)
Brazilian Girls's new single "Good Time" is available on iTunes right now and celebrates the anticyclic act of post-depression-partying. AIG stockholders, please don't click here. Diplo's remix boils it down to an even more basic premise, but maybe that's because the dude has been at a party since 2003.
#234 The Cool Kids - Delivery Man (9th Wonder Remix)
While waiting for the debut album "When Fish Ride Bicycles" i even post a mediocre 9th wonder remix. what happened, man? did fruity loops crash, or something? Maybe i'm too harsh. Check for yourself.

#229 50 Cent vs. Eminem
Truth is: whithout Eminem, there would'nt be a phenomenon called 50 Cent. Now both of them kinda surpassed the "pleasedon'tbotherme"-line a little too often recently.
Now both of them come back with a new single.
50 Cent: Get Up
Eminem: I'm Having A Relapse
I'm not sure, how to decide...it's up to you..

#226 RBMA 2008 Lecture @ Barcelona - Buraka Som Sistema
Over the last few years, Angolan kuduro riddims have spread through the capital Luanda and out to migrant communities in Portugal. Right now, the style is a huge force in Portuguese pop music and the super-tough Buraka Som Sistema are leading the charge.
