#231 Please, Don't Buy Albums

PSA: Don't Buy Albums from jeff on Vimeo.

Well, uhm, yeah. I have to delete my myspace account, i guess...

#230 Maino - However Do You Want It

Hi Haters!

#229 50 Cent vs. Eminem

Truth is: whithout Eminem, there would'nt be a phenomenon called 50 Cent. Now both of them kinda surpassed the "pleasedon'tbotherme"-line a little too often recently.

Now both of them come back with a new single.

50 Cent: Get Up

Eminem: I'm Having A Relapse

I'm not sure, how to decide...it's up to you..

#228 Black milk feat. Pharoahe & Sean Price - The Matrix

This one is a monster. Produced by Black Milk. Again. Cuts by DJ Premier. Even hiphop stalinists have to love that one...

#227 Torae - Switch

This one is a monster. Produced by Black Milk. Protect ya neck, folks....

#226 RBMA 2008 Lecture @ Barcelona - Buraka Som Sistema

Over the last few years, Angolan kuduro riddims have spread through the capital Luanda and out to migrant communities in Portugal. Right now, the style is a huge force in Portuguese pop music and the super-tough Buraka Som Sistema are leading the charge.

#225 RBMA 2008 Lecture @ Barcelona - Blu & Exile

interesting, what these dudes have to say. even more interesting, what the host bloke wants to know...
edit: check out what exile does to his MPC. Jump to minute 25, or so...

#224 Patrick Stump - Love Lockdown

let the remix madness start!!

#223 Studio Time With Morgan Geist

The good folks from Fader TV popped by at Metro Area, now solo artist, Morgan Geist. Something for equipment geeks.

check out a track off from his new album "Morgan Geist" called "Most Of All"

# 222 JME - Juju Riddim

Obviously JME is the only one doing that something, we used to call "grime"...and he's actually doing a great job.

#221 Young Jeezy - Amazin'

Best hook in a rap song 2008: "Bitch, I'm amazin' / Look what I'm blazin' / Eyes so low, yeah, i look like an asian".
How stupid is that?!??"! But besides that, this one is an ego booster....

#220 Bangladesh feat. Rick Ross & Busta Rhymes - Girls Love Me

Usually, we do expect a little more madness on a bangladesh production, right? But one has to pay the bills, right?

#219 Elzhi feat. T3 - Save Ya

Off from The Preface a 16-track album, produced almost entirely by production star Black Milk, features guest appearances Royce Da 5'9", T3 (Slum Village), Guilty Simpson, Phat Kat, and more. Surely one of the better hip hop records of 2008 The Preface is in stores now via Fat Beats Records.

#218 MC Ren - Return Of The Villain

My personal westcoast revival continues. Former NWA hero MC Ren is at it again...dead bodies included.

#217 The Fixxers feat. Kay L - Offshore Flow

As a huge fan of the song "Can You Werk Wit Dat", i was waiting for this to happen. Check DJ Quik's MySpace for more.

#216 Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Apparently off from the new album. But more likely nothing but a teaser to irritate folks. expect the unexpected - i like....

#215 Not Giving A Fuck

it's that simple...

#214 Big Boi - Dubbz

"Dubbz" is presumably the third single from Big Boi's coming very soon Sir Luscious Left Foot. A great car anthem, i'd say. Whatever car you have.

#213 Johnson & Johnson - Up All Nite

Johnson & Jonson is Blu from LA and producer Mainframe. Powders & Oils, initially meant as a mixtape but turned out too good to not be properly released. If you like what you hear, definitely check Blu's solo joint "Below The Heavens".

#212 Lauryn Hill - World Is A Hustle

i wonder, what she's doing right now...and what about pras and clef?
